Caught in the moment…

As a photographer I always want to capture something special, a picture that tells a story, that shows something unique. Often even the greatest pictures are moments that perhaps passed by in an instant but just happened to be caught on camera, then that moment becomes cherished forever. I am always looking for such moments when I am behind the camera, it may be a glancing look, a smile to a loved one or a tear of joy on a fathers cheek.  These moments are never the same and I love being able to capture these for people so that they will forever cherish some of the most important and beautiful times in their lives.

My photos are always about the people in them and showing their best moments in whatever they are doing. I try to edit my photos to bring out the warm dream-like feelings we often have when we are truly enjoying a moment in life. I love working with people and having fun with my photography and it’s always great to photograph people in new locations to create something unique for them that they will cherish. As you will see from my portfolio I always maintain a high standard in my work, so you can rely upon me to produce the same high standard of photography when choosing me for your wedding or family shoot.

A bit more about me…

I live in Hull with my beautiful wife and two daughters. Although originally from Leicester I have spent most of my life in Yorkshire and love the area and people up here. I first got into photography when I was about 14 when I started taking pictures, albeit badly, on a 35mm film slr camera I had received for my birthday. Tom & RuthI loved taking pictures and still remember how excited I was to get my films developed and see what I had caught. Now I am in my 30’s I still have this same excitement although, now everything is digital, I don’t have to wait so long to get them developed.

If you like what you see and would like to find out more about what I can offer you as your family or wedding photographer please get in touch with me through my contact page here.
